Recently I had a very annoying problem, of my application disappearing from the viewable area of my Desktop.
Maybe this happens on occasions with Two or multiple monitors. The application appears in the "Application in Task Manager" and you can also see it when you do a "WINDOWS + TAB"; however the annoying part is you cannot catch it or re-size it.
Fix:
1. WINDOWS + Ctrl + TAB = Allows you to select the application (current focus)
2. WINDOWS + Up = Maximize
Thats it!
